Does the problem of material supply only affect black models?
Unfortunately, no.
The current issue also extends to the white model, since we have procurement challenges on electronic components. So, if you are waiting for a black Tero device and you want to change the color to white, this will not speed up delivery. That said, please know that we are working very hard and following up closely with our suppliers in order to deliver all Tero devices as quickly as possible.
Will people who win Tero devices at contests or events receive them before we do?
No.
Those who win a Tero device in these contexts will receive it after the Kickstarter contributors, the presale customers, and customers who bought before the contest or event date. They get in the queue, like any new person who buys a Tero device on the website.
Have influencers already received their Tero device?
No.
We have about twenty demo devices from pre-production for promotional uses (events, media, influencers, etc.). These are not intended for sale. When these units are sent to our various partners, it is for them to test them, share their opinion with their community, and then send them back to us.
Why do you continue to promote despite the current situation?
To ensure the sustainability and success of Tero.
The Tero team is divided into several sub-teams that work very hard in their respective fields. As the product development and engineering team work on continuous product improvement and delivery of all devices, the communication and marketing team continues to promote. We cannot afford to stop the sale of new units, as this would impact the good development of the company in the short, medium and long term.
