If your device squeaks, this noise is not a sign of any failure or breakage. It is simply the noise produced by the friction of the blades and the bottom of the bucket, near the chimneys (grinding support).
To make it disappear, simply apply vegetable oil to the following areas:
- At the base of the blade doors;
- In the bottom of the bucket, around the chimneys.

It is important to carry out a good in-depth cleaning following a few cycles carried out with the addition of vegetable oil: soaking the blades in hot soapy water, washing the bucket, more particularly the top of the chimneys (grinding support). This will ensure that no sticky residue will settle inside your blades or on the chimneys (grinding support) of the bucket. You can also clean your blades and bucket in the dishwasher.
